AEM is offering members who export machinery  ...   for Off-Road Equipment Industry.. The content of the EU REACH Executive Brief is customized specifically for the off-road equipment manufacturing industry.. The publication contains news of what has changed and is scheduled to change, upcoming deadlines and analysis from industry experts, as well as case studies and feature articles from peer companies.. Internationally-recognized experts will write regular columns, and special guest columns and/or interviews will provide additional insight.. Compliance Risks, the number one supplier of regulatory information in the world, will pull REACH changes out of their database each month and send them to the experts at ERA Technology for interpretation.. REACH changes on a monthly basis, said John Wagner, AEM director of materials management.. EU REACH Executive Brief helps give clarity to the issues and explains why AEM members should care.. AEM Offers Industry Solution to Compliance Management.. AEM s REACH initiative offers equipment manufacturers a cost-effective way to understand and manage compliance as an industry, Wagner said.. Making compliance part of a company s business can reduce costs and allow companies to deal with issues before they become problems.. Use of the chemical DEHP is one example, he said.. The sunset date that triggers reporting requirements for a manufacturer shipping articles containing DEHP into the EU is February 21, 2015.. At that point, Wagner said, manufacturers must identify if DEHP is present, in what concentration and safe-use guidelines.. Consequences can ensue in the EU if DEHP is not identified, he said.. The EU REACH Executive Brief will provide continuing coverage on the use of DEHP and other chemicals..
