Professor Mortensen s work helped both economists and policymakers to better understand labor markets and unemployment.. A researcher and faculty member at Northwestern University for more than 40 years, Prof.. Mortensen was recognized with the 2010 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work with MIT s Peter Diamond and LSE s Christopher Pissarides on the analysis of markets with  ...   editors of the Review of Economic Dynamics..
