QCF Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice.. in key strategic locations (approved by YCNI) across Northern Ireland.. The YCNI invites suitably experienced individuals, organisations, institutions or consortia to tender for the delivery of this qualification.. Youth Works is a 2million initiative developed by the Department of Education, with the International Fund for Ireland and managed on behalf of DE by the Youth Council for Northern Ireland.. The project is designed specifically to use a youth work methodology to engage, on a cross community basis, young people aged 16 and 17 not in education, training or employment (NEET), with no or low level formal qualifications (at GCSE or equivalent).. The youth work approach is underpinned by three core elements that are embedded throughout the programme; Peace and Reconciliation, Personal Development; and One-to-One Mentoring..
